The Electronic Transactions Association has selected Lauren Olechna of First American Payment Systems for the 2020 Forty Under 40 class, which highlights the gamechangers at the intersection of payments and technology. This year’s roster includes individuals whose talents and leadership are shaping both the work of their institutions and the payments technology industry.
ETA will feature the 2020 Forty Under 40 in the spring issue of its magazine, Transaction Trends, and also will honor the class at TRANSACT, the premier event for payment industry professionals, taking place April 26–30 in Las Vegas.
ETA solicited nominations from across the payments industry, selecting 40 honorees from a competitive nomination pool of 120 emerging leaders. The final group was selected by the 2019 Forty Under 40 class and the ETA Awards and Recognition committee based on the nominees’ impact on the payments industry and their professional character.
Olechna serves as First American’s Director of ISV. In this role, she leads the Relationship Management and Account Executive teams tasked with supporting First American’s fastest-growing segment—Independent Software Vendors. Noted for her positive influence within the industry, Olechna is lauded for her ability to quickly assess the needs of First American’s partners and artfully align them with the best integration experience, managing the process from one tiny detail to the next. Her reputation for building business relationships that last serves her well as she expands the company’s ISV portfolio, optimizing current partners and implementing new verticals.
“I am honored and humbled to be a part of this impressive group of payments professionals,” said Olechna. “I look forward to meeting with fellow honorees at TRANSACT and working together to positively influence the payments industry.”
